All of the recipes were passed down to me from my grandmother.  Who loved to bake treats for us anytime she had a chance.

Seven Minute Frosting

Ingredients:
2 egg white
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
5 Tablespoons Cold Water
1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions:
Place the 2 egg whites, sugar, water and cream of tartar in the upper bowl of a double boiler pan. Beat with an electric beater until thoroughly mixed. Place over boiling water. Heat for seven minutes or until it holds a peak. Remove from burner. Add vanilla. Beat with mixer again, until thick enough to spread.

Brown Sugar Frosting

Homemade Brown Sugar Frosting Recipe - This homemade frosting recipe that take very little time to make and taste heavenly! The recipe was passed down to me from my grandmother. Who loved to bake treats for us anytime she had a chance.

Ingredients:
1/2 Butter
1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 Milk
1- 3/4 – 2 C Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat..  Add in brown sugar and cook for 2 minutes.  Add in the milk and let mixture come to a boil.  Cool the mixture.  Add in 1 3/4 to 2 C of powdered sugar and stir.  The amount of powdered sugar added will determine the thickness of the frosting.


Coconut Frosting

Coconut Frosting - This homemade frosting recipe that take very little time to make and taste heavenly! The recipe was passed down to me from my grandmother. Who loved to bake treats for us anytime she had a chance.

Ingredients:
1/4 C Butter
2/3 C Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Coconut
1/2 Cup Pecans
3 Tablespoons Condensed Milk

Directions:
In a medium sauce pan add the above ingredients. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it boils and becomes brown.  Stir occasionally.

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Butter
8 oz Cream Cheese
1 lb Powdered Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions:
Combine all ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Beat on medium high with an electric mixer until the mixture becomes creamy.

Butter Cream Frosting

Butter Cream Frosting - This homemade frosting recipe that take very little time to make and taste heavenly! The recipe was passed down to me from my grandmother. Who loved to bake treats for us anytime she had a chance.

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Butter
3 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
4 Tablespoons Milk
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla

Directions:

In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter at low speed with electric mixer until creamy. Add in powdered sugar slowly, allowing for the sugar and butter to mix thorough.  Add milk and vanilla. Mix on medium, until light and fluffy. You may add an additional Tablespoon of milk for spreading consistency.

Death By Chocolate Frosting
(Best on Cakes and Brownies)

Death By Chocolate Frosting - This homemade frosting recipe that take very little time to make and taste heavenly! The recipe was passed down to me from my grandmother. Who loved to bake treats for us anytime she had a chance.

Ingredients:

1-1/2 sticks melted butter
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Sift cocoa into mixing bowl; mix in melted butter on medium high speed until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk and continue to mix until smooth. Add vanilla and mix until smooth. Spread frosting on cooled cake, let stand 2 hours to set.
