Make Your Own Window Cleaners and Save Money

Window Cleaner Recipe

It is very important to remember that the commercial cleaners on today’s market have a wax substance mixed into them, which builds up on your mirrors and windows.. You will have to take a bucket of warm water, a little dish soap and few splashes of vinegar and mix it into the container. Wipe down your mirrors and windows with this solution to remove the wax or not one of the following recipes will below work.

All of the recipes below can be added to a spray bottle using a funnel.


Window Cleaner Recipes:

Cleaner #1
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 cups warm water

Cleaner #2
1 cup Water
3 drops Dawn Dish Soap
1/4 cup White Vinegar
Mix in spray bottle

Cleaner #3
Equal parts of:

Water & Vinegar

Cleaner #4
1 gallon water

2 TBS lemon juice
Squirt Dawn dish soap
1/4 cup vinegar

Cleaner #5
1/2 cup white vinegar

1 gallon warm water

Cleaner #6
2 TBSP cornstarch

1/2 cup household ammonia
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 gallon warm water

Cleaner #7
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon liquid Dawn detergent
2 cups of water in a spray bottle

Cleaner #8
2 cups water

3 TBS vinegar
1/2 tsp Dawn dish soap
