Lasagna Made With Italian Sausage Instead of Ground Beef

Lasagna Made With Italian Sausage Instead of Ground Beef

A new twist on an old favorite. Since our daughter is not a fan of ground beef, I decided to try my hand at making lasagna made with Italian sausage instead of ground beef.

It was a hit. We have used the recipe to make pans of lasagna as well as lasagna rolls.

Our family loves lasagna made with mild, ground Italian sausage.

Ingredients:
16 oz Package of lasagna noodles
1 jar spaghetti sauce (I sometimes add another 1/2 a jar because my son likes extra sauce)
1 ½ pounds of ground beef or mild ground Italian sausage
3 Eggs
2-3 Tablespoons dry or fresh parsley (optional)
2 (15oz) Ricotta cheese

Save time by making one pan for today and freeze the second pan for another date.
