April Instagram Shares
Month in review on Instagram. What a busy month it has, been. Spring is in the air. Most certainly. The trees are budding and wildflowers just started to bloom.
Easter is already upon us. Anyone else feel like this year is flying by? I can’t believe next week my husband and I are already packing up for our couple’s getaway in Tennessee. It seemed like it was so far way.
Since I have posted a fair amount on Instagram this month, I decided to share some of the posts. I am still rather new on Instagram and trying to be a regular. Setting a goal for at least three shares a week.
Here are a few of the posts.
Chamomile Tea Using Flowers
Using some of my garden chamomile flower to sit and reflect while enjoying a cup of chamomile tea. Recipe HERE.
Husband & Wife Together for Life Print
Photo of the new husband & wife poster print design that I listed for sale here.
Water Rooting My Ivy
Spring is the perfect time to take cuttings of your ivy plants. Stick the ivy start in a container of water and grow strong, healthy roots. Change out your water every week for the plants health.
Once you have the root growth that you wish, plant them inside of containers to make beautiful trailing containers. Additional, free plants for your outdoor planters.
Shared One of My Designs
Listed a new art design called Plant Smiles, Grow Laughter and Harvest Love. Available HERE.
Of course, it is Easter this weekend. Saturday night we attended Freaster at my cousin’s home. Friends and family Easter. Holls had the food catered in; and of course, in true Holly fashion, made up some extra special Easter touches for the table.
I shared them below.
Easter Centerpiece Flowers and Eggs
Clear glass vase filled with Easter eggs and topped of with a beautiful Easter flower display.
Easter Bunny Placecard Holders and Treats
The place settings were individual mason jar Easter baskets. Each one holding a chocolate bunny, Easter grass and jelly beans. Topped off with a name card Easter bunny.
Carnation Easter Bunny Dog Floral Arrangement
Omg. Normally, I have my camera along with me everywhere. Today, for some reason, I decided to leave it home. Good thing we have iphones. I would have been kicking myself if I couldn’t capture this utterly cute carnation floral display.
The body of the Easter dog was made up of white carnation flowers. Cuteness overload.
Hope you enjoy your Easter! Dinner with our children tonight. Both, had to work all day on Easter. We get to enjoy their company tonight.
Back to the grind tomorrow. Then, only 4 days and it’s off for a vacation. It has been 10 months since we went anywhere. I can’t wait for our short road trip adventure together.
