1.) In a small bowl mix milk and beaten eggs together.
3.) Slowly pour the milk and egg mixture from your small bowl into the large bowl dry ingredients, mixing well.
4.) Fill a 9 or 10-inch skillet 2/3 full with veggie oil and heat to 375 degrees using your thermometer to ensure the proper temperature.
5.) Cover the small bottom opening of the funnel with your finger so the batter does not escape. Fill the bottom of the funnel with a 1/2 cup of the batter.
6.) With the funnel over the oil release your finger and drizzle the batter into the oil. Start out with a circle shape forming the outside edge of the pan working your way in, in a spiral type pattern. Then you can drizzle the top of your spiral shaped pattern with remaining batter to form a nice pattern in any fashion you would like.
7.) Fry each side for 3 minutes and then turn and bake 1 minute longer or just until golden brown.
8.) Place paper toweling on a plate. After each cake has finished frying take it out of the oil using your metal tongs and place it on the paper toweling to drain.
9.) Top your funnel cake with your favorite topping. Ideas include powdered sugar, strawberries, cherries, and blueberries.
