Crispy Italian Salad Croutons

Crispy Italian Salad Croutons

Crispy Italian Salad Croutons

Fresh and flavorful.  Crispy Italian salad croutons. Cheese, garlic and Italian seasons.  Some of my favorite flavor combinations, in bite-size pieces.

Could you purchase a bag at your local grocery store?  Sure. Once you make your own you’ll never buy them at the store again.

Plus, we all have a loaf of bread that is a little its past prime and this is the perfect use for it.

1 loaf of white bread
1/2 Cup melted butter
Italian seasoning, prepared in a spice bottle
Parmesan cheese
Garlic salt

1.) Lay slices of bread out on cookie sheets.

2.) Brush each slice of bread with melted butter.

3.) Sprinkle each slice with a combination of Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, and garlic salt; to your desired taste.

4.) Cut into small squares with pizza cutter.

5.) Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

6.) Store in airtight container to keep crisp.

A wonderful addition to all your lunch salads.
