Lambeau is Peaceful at 11 at Night
Last night I was a little restless. When I get antsy at night I have to get out and do something. Some people go to the gym, maybe dancing or go out for a drink. For me, I start looking for something to photograph. Lambeau is Peaceful at 11 at Night.
I had heard that one of the side construction walls at Lambeau had come down and revealed a pleasant surprise. With that information, I decided to head out and see what all the fuss was about.
For some reason, Lambeau Field had not been on my must photograph at night list. With that in mind, I didn’t know what to expect.
For starters, my daughter and I were the only two walking along the sidewalk and the lot. We could see inside the Lambeau Atrium; the lights were on, and a cleaning crew was busy cleaning the interior.
Curly Lambeau Statue
Walking along the exterior at night is beautiful. The outdoor lights and glow from the city is beautiful. Having no one else to worry about I walked the perimeter of the stadium to look for a few spots to set up my tripod.
The first spot we set up was to photograph the Curly Lambeau Statue.
Then on to the atrium entrance.
Replica of Lombardi Trophy
Then we walked down to the gates. This is where I got a glimpse of the replica of The Lombardi Trophy. In order to get a clean shot of the trophy I had to boost myself up on top of a pillar. Thankfully, only the cleaning crew watched this frightful occurrence.
One of the construction panels finally came down from the Lambeau Field Stadium. Revealing my first glimpse at the side of the new stadium wall. The upgrade revealed a replica of the Lombardi Trophy that is lite up in all its glory at night.
I have some additional pictures. Somehow I misplaced the album. Misplaced to me means most likely I deleted them. Still getting used to the Mac and transferring and storing my files on an external drive.
Who knows…what I did at least point. It is what it is.
