Flying Into Sunset
The benefits of traveling with a camera in your car allows you to pull over and catch a moment in time that puts a smile on your face. This flying into sunset photo was worthy of a few smiles.
When traveling back from helping a friend who lives out in the country, I noticed the vivid coloring of the sunset that the sky was graciously allowing me to witness. I thought about pulling over, but there really wasn’t anything but road and trees. The background elements really wouldn’t have accented any photo I would have taken.
Maybe, I was lazy. Hey, it happens; but I do not openly always admit it. If I don’t think it is amazing, I might just skip trying. Gulp, I just admitted that.
About 8 minutes into my travels, I noticed a flock of geese flying toward the sun. My laziness, and mind set changed from nah, to ok; that might look pretty sweet. I pulled off and waited until the geese lined up and took the shot.
Yep, now that is worth pulling off the road for.
