I Can See For Miles Cave Point County Park
Early spring day at Cave Point County Park in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin in Door County.
Like many spring days, the rain showers were on their way. I wanted to grab some shots of the low, textured clouds that were rolling in.
Unlike our weather in Green Bay, the clouds were just heading towards Cave Point. When I arrived it was calm and didn’t look like it was gonna rain. The radar showed differently though. Rain was heading this way.
It may not have rained on me while obtaining this shot, but I did get a little wet by standing in ankle deep in water. The clouds most certainly did arrive and most certainly didn’t disappoint.
Lake Michigan is extremely cold this time of year. Even more so than during the summer. Never thought that was possible. Thankfully, this was only ankle deep water and my time was short lived.
The print turned out beautiful!
One additional print from the day. Happy I headed that way.
