Tomato Basil Mozzarella Skewers
Have basil and cherry tomatoes coming out of your ears? I do! Try these fresh tomato basil mozzarella skewers for a quick snack or appetizer.
There is nothing better than paring this recipe with fresh Wisconsin mozzarella cheese balls. I’m telling ya, Wisconsin cheese is the bomb. Pure perfection! But, I will not hold it against you if you have another kind.
1.) Skewer up your favorite mozzarella cheese balls, basil and cherry tomatoes.
2.) Mix up the Marinade recipe below or one of your liking.
3.) Place the skewers & marinade in a gallon size ziptop bag and refrigerate all day.
4.) When you pass the refrigerator during the day, give the skewers a rotate.
6 tablespoons olive oil
6 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons snipped fresh chives
4 teaspoons honey mustard
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Place all the ingredients into a screw-top jar and shake. Place your skewers in a gallon size freezer bag and drizzle the mixture over the appetizers.
