McClintock Park – Marinette County

McClintock Park is located on the Peshtigo River in Marinette County. The park offers a day pass to walk a series of four wooden bridges over rapids and has some excellent trout fishing. Primitive campsites without amenities are available.

The walk along Peshtigo River under the mixed hardwoods produced lush moss-covered rocks and plant life to gaze at including Jack-in-the-Pulpit, bloodroot, downy yellow violet, Virgin’s-Bower, and Chanterelle Waxcap.

During the spring months into early summer keep an eye out for specialty birds the scarlet tanager, chestnut-sided warbler, and palm warbler. As well as some residents in the woodpecker family northern flicker, pileated woodpecker

How To Pay The Fee

All Marinette parks require a day-use entrance sticker or a $20.00 yearly sticker. The cost for the day fee is $5.00 per vehicle per day. A day-use sticker can be used at multiple Marinette County parks the day that it is purchased. There is a pay station when entering the park. Bring exact change.
