Printable Bathroom Wall Art

Wash Your Hands Print - Example of one of the free designs you can print out. My 12 year old son said the framed prints have been a huge hit with his friends. He stated that not a tween or teen has come out without giggling and repeating the sayings. I created four different sayings and frame them all for the downstairs bathroom.

Printable Bathroom Wall Art

I was looking for some cute framed sayings to add to my bathroom decor and I really didn’t like anything I came across in the stores. I decided to make my own printable bathroom wall art.

Then, I remembered that my daughter had given me some white, 8×10 frames for Christmas last year and I figured maybe I should just make something to print out to tie the distressed frames to.

Recycled Plate Garden Flowers

Recycled Plate Garden Flowers

Recycled Plate Garden Flowers

I have seen recycled plate garden flowers in high upscale galleries in tourist towns, like Door County, Wisconsin for a few years now. The price tag on the glass flowers is outrageous. Generally running almost $50.00. So, I set out to learn how they were made and try my hand at making my own.

Printable Christmas Gift Tags

It is Friday night and what am I doing?  Waiting up for my teens.  I have this knack for waiting up till the last child walks safely through my door.

While I was waiting I was goofing around with graphics and designed two Christmas hang tags for Christmas gifts.

I plan on printing them on cardstock and hole punching them to add to gifts.

Feel free to download them and use them yourself.

Acrylic Paint and Glass Bulb Christmas Ornament (Cheap & Easy – Kids Can Do It)

Acrylic Paint and Glass Bulb Christmas Ornament

I have been making these glass ornaments for years. Both as gifts to give away and also to sell at craft fairs. I found them to be easy projects that my children enjoyed doing.

Personally, I liked the price. Even at full price the bulbs cost $4.99 for 12. I have never personally paid full price. I wait for a half off sale or until the end of the season. Last year, I was able to get 6 boxes at a whopping 25 cents a box.

The acrylic paints we have keep doubling each year. The small amount of paint left over from additional craft projects through the year, find a home with this project.

It is a simple, less than 5 minute per bulb. It is the drying time of 2-3 days that makes the project seem to last longer.

How to Recycle an Old Record Into a Basket or Bowl

Over the summer I was able to get a few old records for 10 cents a piece at a local garage sale.  Being an avid crafter, I purchased them but wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them at the time.

I did know that my daughter wanted a few to try and recycle them into guitar picks for my husband. That was a pain in the butt, so I’m not sharing it.

But, I found something for me to make too in a magazine that dated back to 1981. There was a picture of a record bowl with popcorn inside of it.  Oh, I’m gonna play – you know it!
