Have little black flies around your houseplants?  Fungus gnats are what you have.  Mix up this fungus gnat indoor houseplant recipe to kill the fungus gnat larvae in the infected soil.

Recipe Mixture

• One part 3% hydrogen peroxide to four parts water.

Directions

Water the top layer of your plant soil. Reapply as needed.

As you cut the tops of your carrots to use in other recipes, save them.  Place the cut tops on a plate in a shallow amount of water.  Place near a sunny window.

Use the greens that grow out of the top in salads and adding for added flavor in sauces. You can use this trick with the end of the celery ball too.
