Bass Lake Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest
Bass Lake Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is a 142 acre lake that you can reach by road access on ATV or UTV in Oconto County, Wisconsin. You can also can get there by vehicle too. For us, we enjoy riding the trails and stopping off to fish for a few hours.
Mountain Fire Lookout Tower in Mountain Wisconsin
For a fun place to stop off at when exploring the trails in Oconto County in Wisconsin try Mountain Fire Lookout Tower in Mountain, Wisconsin. The tower has 132 steps and is 100-feet tall. The last original fire tower of nineteen. Still standing on its original location in the Nicolet National Forest.
My DH was doing some research on South Dakota and Google has this way of tailoring search results to us according to what we have looked up and expressed interest in. He showed me a link before we left for vacation for a Black Hills National Forest UTV Adventure.
I didn’t say too much about it. Not because I didn’t want to do it, but we didn’t make any reservations for it and I didn’t want to disappoint him.
This morning, once again I was the first one up. I went outside to greet Henny Penny and do some poking around on the mining grounds we were on. Found some cool items to photograph and the entryway to the MINE. Booyah! I didn’t go in, but I found it.
