Parking
The trailhead has a clearly marked parking lot located just off County Road 550. Early in the morning it is usually easy to find a parking spot, but by mid-morning the lot often fills up quickly during the summer and fall seasons.
Hiking the Trail
The trail winds through forest and rocky outcrops typical of the Upper Peninsula landscape. Portions of the trail cross exposed rock with moss and plants growing in the cracks, while other sections pass through wooded areas with roots and packed dirt paths.
Two Routes to the Top
