We were going to meet up with a friend of ours in Door County. We were about two hours ahead of him because he was held up at work. My husband decided we should stop off at Robert La Salle County Park Door County and I could search for July Wisconsin Wildflowers along the shoreline.

Sometimes, I can’t believe how I end up at a certain place. In the case of the Crystal River Grist Mill Wisconsin, I found an ad in the paper with a picture of a little wedding chapel. The chapel appeared to be something I would want to photograph. Little did I know what a wonderful find this property was. It held the old crystal river grist mill, covered bridge and a chapel.
Icy Shores of Lake Michigan
Winter in Wisconsin can be brutal. Right now, especially. We are experiencing negative wind chills along the icy shores of lake Michigan. Which, is simply just starting to feel like the norm for me.
