I’m not sure about you, but I know for me I have noticed that life seems off balance. My husband and I spend much of our time apart, due to our winter hobbies and work. We dedicate one weekend day a month together to reconnect. The pictures included in this posting are from our Sunday drive in early March to Oconto County, Wisconsin.
Roadtrip! Destination Devils Punchbowl in Menomonie, Wisconsin. From our home in Green Bay it is almost a four hour drive. Weather is nice, so why not. My daughter has the day off and it is a place I have always wanted to go.
Explosion Of Color Rib Mountain
An explosion of color Rib Mountain in Wausau, Wisconsin. Rib Mountain is home to the Rib Mountain State Park and the Granite Peak Ski Area. I’m standing looking over the Granite Peak Ski Resort in the Town of Rib Mountain. Which is in Marathon County, Wisconsin just south of Wausau.
Main Street Bridge Green Bay at Night
This print of the Main Street Bridge Green Bay at Night was taken on a very calm night. Along the Fox River in Green Bay, Wisconsin, a person doesn’t get too many still nights for trailing reflections in the water. The stillness of the night and the fact that the nights are getting warmer make it the perfect time to get out and capture bridge photos.
Crystal River Grist Mill Wisconsin
How in the World Do I Find These Places?
Sometimes, I can’t believe how I end up at a certain place. In the case of the Crystal River Grist Mill Wisconsin, I found an ad in the paper with a picture of a little wedding chapel. The chapel appeared to be something I would want to photograph. Little did I know what a wonderful find this property was. It held the old crystal river grist mill, covered bridge and a chapel.
