Copycat Recipe for Egg Beaters- Whole Egg Substitute

The cholesterol in one large whole is 213 mg. If you substitute 1/4 cup of this homemade copycat Egg Beaters recipe for one traditional egg, you would be consuming 1 mg cholesterol. A savings of 212 mg cholesterol.

Ingredients:
2 Large egg whites
1 Tablespoon nonfat dry milk powder
1 teaspoon canola oil or vegetable oil
4 drops yellow food coloring (optional)

Directions:
In a bowl, whisk the 2 egg whites milk powder and oil until blended. Add food coloring. The food coloring is optional.

Notes:
1.) This recipe will yield 1/4 cup egg substitute which will replace one large egg in a recipe.

2.) Store any remaining egg substitute in refrigerator, covered for no longer than 1 week.
