DIY Flower Press

Over the summer I created an Adobe project, where I shared pictures detailing my newfound hobby of pressing flowers with the public. I had a link that went to the DIY flower press instructions on my Smugmug account.

Someone recently reached out and mentioned the link was set to private. Yep, it is. Sorry about that. I’m not going into the details on why I set my albums to private, but I will outline the press details here for anyone wishing to create one for themselves.

Pressed Flower Designs

Projects

Projects, projects, and more fun projects! A bit of color on a cold Wisconsin winter’s day brings joy to my soul.

Currently, I am making paper using recycled mailers with my dried flower stash to attach the remaining leftover stock from my previous fused glass business endeavor. I’m gonna pick worthy causes to donate them to.

Most of the original pressed flower art was given away or sold – the top stethoscope art was given as a gift for a white coat ceremony – wishing Kenzie all the best! The bottom one was sold to a friend for another friend’s birthday and the top scale was donated to a local benefit to raise funds for a family that lost everything in a fire.

The reproductions of the three designs shown are listed as prints in my Zazzle shop.

Otherwise, you can purchase digital files in my Etsy Shop. Take the digital file to the printer of your choice.

Stethoscope , Watering Can , Kitchen Scale

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial and the flower designs gave you ideas on what you can create. You are only limited to your imagination. Until next time friends, take care!
